Leading Edge Computers Port Macquarie has been trading for a total of 14 years. Starting out as Noeledge Systems Port Macquarie, the business changed hands in July 2010 and was subsequently rebranded as Leading Edge Computers.
Since the change of ownership in July 2010 the business has grown rapidly, bringing a much broader knowledgebase to our retail and business customers alike.
Leading Edge Computers has a motto of “Switched On Service”. We are a service oriented business with a philosophy to service what we sell. With this comes intricate product knowledge, providing our customers with an in-depth approach to the qualification of products for their specific needs. This is then followed up with highest level of after sales service as we are the Authorised Repair Centre for most products we sell. The buck stops with us.

An individual can show their depth of knowledge in one specific technology, earn multiple MCTS certifications to show breadth across different products, or build on the MCTS to earn a Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) certification.

The Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) certification helps validate that an individual has the comprehensive set of skills necessary to perform a particular job role, such as database administrator or enterprise messaging administrator. MCITP certifications build on the technical proficiency measured in the Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) certifications.
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) validates the ability to install, configure, operate, and troubleshoot medium-size route and switched networks, including implementation and verification of connections to remote sites in a WAN. A CCNA’s competencies include mitigation of security threats, wireless networking, and performance-based skills. Apple Certified Macintosh Technician (ACMT) certification verifies the ability to perform troubleshooting and repair of both desktop and portable Macintosh systems, such as iMac and MacBook Pro. ACMT certification exams emphasize identifying and resolving common Mac OS X problems, and using Apple Service and Support products and practices to effectively repair Apple hardware. ACMT certification must be renewed annually which includes training and certification on the latest Apple products.
Toshiba ProCare Technician certification verifies that the certificate holder has undertaken Toshiba’s requirement of annual instructor led training and certification. This ensures that technicians are up to date with the latest technologies and maintenance procedures for Toshiba notebooks and all-in-ones.
